Marvin L. Bernstein, DDS, 92, beloved husband of Hope Kell Bernstein nee Kenigsberg for 32 years and the late Mae nee Weiner; loving father of Gayla (Dr. Joel) Cahan, Ellen Sax, Amy (Leo) Schoenhofen and stepfather of Marla (Steven) Brown and Dawn (Michael) Derlighter; cherished grandfather of his precious grandchildren, Miriam (Ted) Nissly, Noah and Joshua Cahan (fiancee Brittany Abramowicz), Heidi (Justin) Petrillo, Celia Sax, Jordan, Jason and Dylan Brown; Adoring great grandfather of Hannah Sue Nissly and August Meyer Petrillo; many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was a proud Veteran of World War II, a caring dentist for many years in Niles and Morton Grove and a boyhood friend of the Rams. Chapel service Friday, 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
